What counts as a handled call or an AI minute?
A handled call is a connected customer conversation with the AI, whether or not it results in a booking. A later customer callback is another conversation. An internal transfer does not create a second call charge. AI minutes run while the AI session is connected, including pauses and scheduling checks; they stop when that session ends or hands over to a person. Total connected seconds are divided by 60, and the final charge is rounded to cents.
Unanswered rings, calls filtered before connecting to the AI, and duplicate processing caused by our system do not count as handled calls. Usage is based on recorded service events, not estimated appointments.
How does the AI overage work?
On Team, 400 calls and 2,400 minutes exceed the allowance by 100 calls and 600 minutes. The call charge is $250; the minute charge is $252. The AI overage is $252, so the subscription plus AI usage is $1,551. Any SMS, field-resource, or location extras are shown separately.
Allowances reset each monthly billing period and do not roll over. A long call uses more of the minute pool; there is no six-minute cutoff on individual conversations.
What is a field resource? What is a location?
A field resource is one independently schedulable professional or crew active during the month, whether employed or contracted. Count each resource once, even if it crosses territories. Office accounts and approved customer viewers are included. A location is a separate operating schedule or dispatch operation; extra ZIP codes within the same operation are not extra locations. Included allowances are pooled across the locations in your company plan.
What about SMS and phone numbers?
Each plan includes one US local phone number per included operating location and the SMS segment allowance shown above. A long text can use more than one segment. Additional locations include a local number. Extra numbers, toll-free service, international traffic, and messaging campaign registration are confirmed and quoted before activation. Standard US local call transport is included in the published AI allowance and overage rates.
Is a human answering service included?
Exceptions and requested human handoffs go to your designated team. An outsourced human receptionist or call center is a separate service, priced and approved before use. Laboratory charges, field labor, paid leads, and third-party software subscriptions are also separate.
Can you support franchises or contractor networks?
Bring your branch count, independent contractor businesses, territories, and expected distribution volume to onboarding. Separate company workspaces, group reporting, pooled usage, and lead or work-order distribution require a scoped group proposal. An independent contractor business is different from an individual field resource in these plans.
Can we use this for HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work?
AnswerToArrival is the product family. These three plans are proposed for AnswerToArrival Restoration, initially focused on mold assessment and sampling coordination. Other industries and their operating requirements are discussed separately; they are not included as live applications in these prices.
